The Carlsons Delta Waterfowl Extended Choke Tubes deliver dense, consistent patterns for waterfowl hunters running 12 Gauge shotguns threaded in the Winchester Invector (WinChoke) pattern. Sold as a 2-pack that includes one Mid-Range and one Long-Range constriction, model 07470 is precision-machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant black finish built to withstand the harshest marsh and bay conditions.
These extended chokes incorporate a 25% longer parallel section than conventional choke tubes, producing tighter shot patterns with fewer flyers at extended distances. Each tube extends 3/4″ beyond the muzzle, shielding the barrel’s forcing cones from the accelerated wear caused by sustained steel shot use. The end is knurled for fast hand installation and removal in the blind, and the constriction type is laser etched on both the end and the body for instant identification.
Steel shot is approved through these chokes with excellent results. For the Long Range constriction, do not exceed BB-sized steel shot or any steel load faster than 1550 FPS; heavier or faster steel payloads should be run through the Mid Range tube.
