Description
The FN 502 Tactical is a .22 LR semi-auto pistol and a standout in the FN lineup: the industry’s first slide-mounted, optics-ready rimfire handgun. Built around a single-action-only trigger and a 4.60″ threaded steel barrel, it is purpose-designed as a fun-range and suppressor-host platform that mirrors the ergonomics and manual of arms of FN’s centerfire duty pistols.
The slide is cut from steel, finished in matte black, and features rear cocking serrations along with an optics-ready footprint for direct mounting of red-dot sights. Suppressor-height fixed sights co-witness through most pistol optics, so the iron sight picture remains usable with a mounted dot or while running a suppressor. A black polymer frame carries an under-barrel Picatinny rail for lights and lasers, and the black textured polymer grips are contoured for positive control during fast rimfire strings.
The pistol ships with two magazines: a flush-fit 10-round magazine for concealed-friendly carry and a slightly extended 15-round magazine for range sessions. The ambidextrous controls include a thumb safety, making the 502 Tactical equally comfortable for right- and left-handed shooters.
