The Geissele Automatics G2S Two-Stage Trigger is a precision two-stage trigger assembly designed for the AR-15 and AR-10 platforms, with a total draw weight of 4.25-4.75 lbs.
Built as a cost-effective combat alternative to Geissele’s SSA and SSA-E, the G2S is a non-adjustable trigger that installs into any Mil-Spec stripped lower receiver using standard .154″ trigger and hammer pins. The curved trigger bow delivers the familiar, traditional pull profile preferred by many shooters, while the smooth two-stage break provides the precise and accurate trigger control Geissele triggers are known for.
Manufactured from the same tool steel as the SSA and finished in Black Oxide for long-lasting corrosion resistance, the G2S is visually identical to the SSA once installed – same feel, same reliability. The G2S uses a different method of securing the hammer pin in place, carries no laser markings, and its components are spot-checked for MP rather than individually inspected, a streamlined build process that delivers Geissele-grade performance at a more accessible price point for duty, competition, or defensive AR builds.
