Description
The Underwood Ammo Xtreme Defender is a premium .380 ACP personal-defense load built around a heavy-for-caliber 68 gr solid monolithic bullet. Designed to feed reliably from the compact, subcompact, and concealed-carry pistols commonly chambered in this caliber, the Xtreme Defender is one of Underwood’s flagship personal defense offerings.
This load sends the 68 gr solid monolithic bullet downrange at a muzzle velocity of 1300 fps, producing 255 ft lbs of muzzle energy. Rated Supersonic and loaded in nickel-plated brass cases, it delivers smooth feeding, corrosion resistance, and reloadability from a wide range of .380 ACP pistols.
Underwood Ammo is known for producing hard-hitting, specialty defensive and hunting loads across an extensive caliber lineup, and the Xtreme Defender line is purpose-built to deliver real-world stopping power from the .380 ACP platform – a popular choice for concealed-carry backup guns and pocket pistols.
