It features a 16.5-inch, 1:10 twist barrel made using 4150 Chrome Molybdenum steel for enhanced performance; the barrel is chambered in 7.62×39 and comes with a bayonet lug. Designed to operate under stress with all commercially available ammo on the market, the BFT-47 ships with one (1) 30-round, standard AK magazine included. For improved corrosion and wear resistance, it has also been finished with a black manganese phosphate coating.
