Description
The Traditions ASG12 Snap Caps are 12 Gauge dummy rounds purpose-built to protect your shotgun and extend the life of its firing components. Each snap cap features a plastic body with a brass base, giving you a reusable, inert chamber-safe round for training and storage.
Snap caps work by relieving the stress placed on your firing pin and firing pin spring. When storing your unloaded shotgun for the long term, simply chamber a snap cap and dry-fire to let the firing pin come to rest on a cushioned surface instead of an empty chamber face, dramatically reducing the chance of a broken firing pin down the road. They are also a trusted tool for dry-fire practice, helping build safe gun-handling habits, refine trigger control, and tune trigger pull without burning live ammunition.
This package contains 2 snap caps in 12 Gauge, ready to drop into your shotgun’s chamber for routine storage and training use.
