Description
The Savage Mark II FV-SR is a purpose-built .22 LR bolt-action rimfire rifle designed for hunting and target shooting, featuring a heavy 16.50″ fluted, threaded barrel that’s button-rifled for excellent accuracy and ready for suppressor or compensator mounting right out of the box.
At the heart of this rifle is Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets shooters customize the trigger pull weight to their preference for crisp, clean breaks shot after shot. A simple thumb safety provides reliable control, and the carbon steel receiver is topped with a one-piece Picatinny scope rail so you can mount your optic of choice without hassle.
The matte blued barrel pairs with a rugged matte black fixed synthetic stock, giving the FV-SR a clean, no-nonsense look that shrugs off weather and hard field use. A 5-round detachable box magazine feeds smoothly for quick reloads, and the rifle measures 35.25″ overall at a handy 5.50 lbs.
Configured for right-handed shooters and built around a 1:16 twist, this Mark II FV-SR ships without iron sights so you can run your preferred red dot, scope, or magnified optic from day one. Whether you’re plinking, punching paper, dispatching small game, or threading a suppressor on for quiet range time, the Savage 28702 Mark II FV-SR delivers proven rimfire performance.
