Description
The Trijicon RMR RM09 is the precision-focused Type 2 RMR with a 1.0 MOA red dot — the smallest dot in the RMR lineup. The OD Green housing is one of three RM09 color variants (alongside black and FDE). The 1 MOA dot is built for precision work where covering target with the dot itself becomes a problem at distance.

When to choose 1 MOA: Precision pistol shooting (USPSA Limited Optics, Bullseye, hunting handguns) where the dot needs to disappear inside the bullseye. The 1 MOA can be slower to pick up under stress than the 3.25 or 6.5 — it’s a deliberate trade-off for the precision use case.
