Love this mount! It has a base to bolt onto a vehicle, bunker or ship, wall or bulkhead. Torsion springs in the base provide strong adjustments for elevation or depression allowing for the cradle to lock at an angle or parallel to the ground. Cradle accepts .30 cal / .308 size machine guns. It is relatively light compared to similar equilibrator cradle mounts, but is made from steel and quite rugged. Left side has bracket for holding an ammo can tray. Would work well with Jeeps, armored vehicles and boats! From the base mount, it raises to about 12 inches high and with cradle attached, takes it up to about 16″ in height. Original military item.
