The American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese ‘Kihon’ – a term originally encompassing the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts – with the design of the Boker Plus Kihon knife.
Offering high practical suitability for everyday cutting work in a straightforward design, this folder features a ball-bearing harpoon blade made of D2 steel; this Boker Plus blade wears a satin stonewash finish, opens with spring support via flipper or thumb stud, and is secured by a robust stainless steel liner lock.
Also featured on this knife is a burnished copper handle that provides a secure hand fit in terms of shape and weight, and shows a characteristic patina after only a short time. A lanyard hole is present at the top of the handle for users who’d like to attach fobs or lanyards to the Boker Plus knife, and a stainless steel clip has been provided for tip-up, right carry.
