The MRAD rifles user-changeable barrel systemis just one example of this hardworking gunsmodularity. Available in .338 Lapua Magnum, theprecision grade barrel can be removed by simplyloosening two bolts using a standard Torx wrench.Besides reducing maintenance and logistical burdens,this unique design allows for user level caliberinterchangeability and serviceability with the MRADrifles barrel kits.
The MRAD also boasts Barretts fully adjustablematch-grade trigger module, which is user accessible.The thumb-operated safety can be configured for leftor right hand operation. The ambidextrous magazinerelease can be used intuitively while retaining a firinggrip and cheek weld.
Integrated into the MRAD rifles 7000 seriesaluminum upper receiver is a 21.75 inch M1913 railwith 20 MOA taper. The forward receiver is drilled andtapped for accessory rails to be mounted at the 3, 6and 9 oclock positions.
The MRAD stock is foldable for enhanced portabilityyet locks in as solid as a fixed-stock rifle, creating arigid platform for consistent firing. During transportthe stock folds and locks onto the bolt handlemaintaining the same rifle width whether folded orextended.
Made of a temperature-resistant polymer, theadjustable cheek piece also offers a consistent rifle-to-user contact point. The rifles length of pull canbe set to five different positions with the push of asingle button.
