Description
The PPU PPS762 Subsonic ammunition line is manufactured to strict quality production standards and is loaded to deliver lower noise and lower recoil in 7.62x51mm NATO rifles. It has been adopted by military, law enforcement, and training programs that want the benefits of reduced blast without sacrificing reliability.
Each cartridge features a 200 gr Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJBT) bullet seated in a brass case. The boat-tail profile supports consistent accuracy, and the load produces a 1050 fps muzzle velocity and 490 ft lbs of muzzle energy – well below supersonic levels for a noticeably quieter report in 7.62x51mm NATO-chambered rifles.
PPU built this round specifically for target shooting, making it a smart pick for high-volume range days where reduced blast and recoil translate into a more comfortable shooting experience.
