Description
The Canik Mete SFx is a full-size, optics-ready striker-fired 9mm Luger competition pistol built on the METE (pronounced Met-Ay) platform. Manufactured by Canik in Turkey, the SFx pairs a 5.20″ match-grade barrel with a black-nitride serrated steel slide riding on a Flat Dark Earth polymer frame with an integral 1913 Picatinny accessory rail.
The slide is cut for co-witness optics and accepts Trijicon RMRcc and Shield RMS/RMSc footprint micro red dots. Aggressive front and rear slide serrations provide positive-traction manipulation, paired with 3-Dot white sights and a low-profile ambidextrous slide-stop release for faster engagement under competition pressure. An angled rear sight edge supports emergency one-handed operation.
Internally, the SFx runs a short-reset single-action trigger with nickel-coated action components, an integrated flared mag-well for faster reloads, an ergonomically redesigned beavertail, interchangeable backstraps, and a side-reversible magazine catch with multiple release-button sizes for a customized fit. A loaded chamber indicator sits at the top of the ejection port for visual and tactile status checks.
