Description
The Savage Arms 93R17 BVSS is a full-size bolt-action rimfire rifle built around the flat-shooting 17 HMR cartridge, designed for varmint hunters and precision rimfire shooters who want Savage’s hallmark accuracy in a weather-ready stainless package.
The 21″ heavy button-rifled satin stainless steel barrel features a varmint contour and is paired with a matching satin stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, since this model ships with no iron sights. The action feeds from the included detachable 5-round box magazine, and Savage’s signature user-adjustable AccuTrigger provides a crisp, clean trigger pull for enhanced accuracy, paired with a tang-mounted thumb safety and a 1:9″ twist rate ideal for stabilizing 17 HMR projectiles.
A fixed gray wood-grained laminate stock with a Monte Carlo-style comb and cut checkering carries the barreled action, finishing the rifle at a 39.75″ overall length and a weight of approximately 6.75 lbs. The right-hand configuration, satin stainless metalwork, and tough laminate stock make the 93R17 BVSS a weather-resistant companion for the rabbit colony, the coyote stand, or the backyard range.
