The classic cold War Era staple for American shooters eager to get some fun shooting in: The Spam Can of ridiculously cheap military surplus ammunition. This happens to be the 8mm Mauser ammo, but it’s packaged similarly to the 7.62x54R and the 5.45x39mm that we all came to know and love. As an added bonus, this is the ammunition that’s pre-loaded onto stripper clips, further simplifying the loading process into your firearm A true bargain or any shooter.
This is Romanian surplus ammunition with a 150 grain projectile in a Full metal jacket configuration with a casing made of steel and lacquer coated for weather resistance and shelf life. These are not generally very easy rounds to reload based on the fact that they are Berdan primed and Steel cased. That said, they are very reasonably priced and the reliability in function and performance is literally second to none. This is among the more reliable loads the surplus world has ever seen, and that’s saying something, because militaries around the world have relied on this type of ammunition.
Suitable for use in any 8mm Mauser firearm; also known as 8x57mm ammunition.
