Description
The Rock Ultra FS from Rock Island delivers classic 1911 performance in .45 ACP with a generous serving of modern tactical refinements. This full-size single-action pistol is built around a 5″ button-rifled barrel paired with a full-length guide rod for solid lockup and consistent cycling, while the smooth-angled, snag-free slide profile supports a fast, confident draw when it matters.
Up top, the sights pair a high-visibility fiber optic front with a low-profile adjustable rear for quick, intuitive target acquisition. The steel frame wears a tough black parkerized matte finish that shrugs off everyday wear, and the slide is finished with aggressive serrations for easy press checks and slide manipulation. An ambidextrous thumb safety, skeletonized hammer and trigger with adjustable over-travel stop, and an extended beavertail frame round out the control package.
Tipping the scales at 40 oz with an 8+1 capacity, the Rock Ultra FS offers the heft and authority expected from a full-size 1911 while remaining well-balanced for both range work and personal protection. Textured Black/Gray G10 tactical grips lock into the hand under recoil, and the package ships ready for duty. Manufactured by Armscor in the Philippines.
