Description
The Bergara BMR001 BMR (Bergara Micro Rimfire) is a purpose-built 22 LR bolt-action rimfire rifle designed to serve as the base class for NRL22 competition while staying light and handy enough for small-game hunting. The Steel configuration pairs a matte blued steel barrel with a drilled-and-tapped stainless steel receiver, delivering match-chamber accuracy in a compact, easy-carry package.
At the heart of the BMR is an 18″ steel barrel with a 1:16″ twist optimized for .22 LR, and a muzzle threaded 1/2×28 (thread protector included) for suppressor or compensator readiness. The smooth-running bolt action is fitted with a thumb safety and the Bergara Performance Trigger – a Remington 700-compatible unit prized for its clean, predictable break. A 30 MOA Picatinny scope rail ships in the box so you can dial for long-range rimfire right out of the package.
The fixed synthetic stock is molded in a gray-and-black speckled pattern that disappears in most field environments, and the rifle measures 36″ overall at just 5.5 lbs – light enough to carry all day on a varmint stalk. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics and ships without iron sights so you can mount your preferred optic. Bergara includes both a 5-round and a 10-round detachable magazine so you can choose between a compliance-friendly and an extended configuration.
Backed by the same ergonomics and quality control that define Bergara’s B-14 centerfire line, the BMR001 brings serious rimfire precision to a remarkably approachable price point – equally at home on an NRL22 stage, at the bench, or in the field.
