Description
The Buffalo Bore Ammunition 34B/20 from the Strictly Business personal defense line delivers a high-performance 9×18 Makarov +P load tailored specifically for the Makarov pistol platform. This factory load drives a heavy 115 gr Hard Cast Flat Nose (HCFN) bullet out of the muzzle at 1000 fps, generating 255 ft lbs of muzzle energy. Buffalo Bore bills this as a “heavy bullet for cartridge” loading, weighing 20 grains more and traveling 100 fps faster than standard 9x18mm ammunition for a meaningful step up in penetration and terminal performance.
The hard cast flat nose bullet profile feeds reliably in Makarov-pattern pistols and is engineered to drive deeply through soft tissue and intermediate barriers, making this an effective choice for home defense and personal protection. The +P pressure rating boosts velocity without sacrificing accuracy, and the load is built around a brass case for reliable extraction and consistent cycling. This loading also features a flash-suppressed powder charge to help preserve dark-adapted vision in low-light defensive use.
Designed for personal protection and target use, the 34B/20 gives Makarov owners a credible heavy-bullet defensive option in the Strictly Business lineup.
