Description
The Cold Steel Kudu Lite is a lightweight slip joint folder built around a long 4.25″ clip point blade forged from 5Cr15MoV stainless steel with a mirror polished finish for high corrosion resistance and easy re-sharpening. The blade is heat treated to balance edge retention with field-friendly sharpening, and it carries a full plain edge on a flat grind for clean slicing performance.
Unlike a traditional lockback, the Kudu Lite relies on a heavy internal spring to snap the blade open and hold it in place the same way a classic non-locking slip joint does. Deployment is done with a thumb notch on the spine. The handle is molded from Zy-Ex, a glass-reinforced polymer finished in a black woodgrain texture with polished silver embellishments, keeping total carry weight at just 2.70 oz.
The knife measures 5.75″ closed and stretches to a 10″ overall length when opened, giving the Kudu Lite genuine full-hand reach in a slim, easy-to-carry package.
