Description
Cold Steel Survival Rescue Knife
The Cold Steel SRK Compact fixed blade knife with SK-5 high carbon steel, drop point blade; plain blade edge; black blade finish; 5.0” blade length; 4.0 mm blade thickness; black textured Kray-Ex handle; 9.50” overall length; 5.1 oz. overall weight; and Secure-Ex sheath.
The SRK Compact by Cold Steel offers almost all the performance of its big brother, the SRK, in a substantially shorter, lighter and thinner package.
Specifically designed for those who want or need a low-profile fixed blade, the Compact SRK comes equipped with a drop point blade of Japanese SK-5 high carbon steel construction. This blade, finished with black Tuff-Ex, is impressively abrasion resistant, surprisingly tough, and very edge retaining due to its build and composition.
Also to be found on the ColdSteel SRK Compact is a black Kray-Ex handle textured for a secure grip on the knife; and for safe carry as well as easy access a super sturdy Secure-Ex sheath has been provided.
This tactical knife is a favorite of the Military and Special Forces community, and was also issued by the Navy SEALs for BUDS training as a result of its versatility and durability in even the worst conditions.
