Description
The Federal Premium Vital-Shok TruBall is a 12 Gauge rifled slug load engineered to deliver exceptional accuracy from a smoothbore shotgun barrel. The TruBall system locks the components together, centering and pushing the rifled slug out of the barrel, which promotes clean separation of components after muzzle exit for the best accuracy. Factory testing has produced groups as tight as 1.4 inches at 50 yards, establishing it as one of the most consistent smoothbore slugs available.
This PB127LRS variant is the Low Recoil configuration, firing a 1 oz lead rifled slug at a moderate 1300 fps muzzle velocity for a softer shooting experience compared to the standard 1600 fps TruBall load. Housed in a 2.75″ shotshell, this load suits hunters who prefer reduced felt recoil without sacrificing the accuracy that defines the TruBall line.
Designed as a hunting load, the Federal Premium Vital-Shok TruBall is built for use in smoothbore barrels and is a natural choice for timber and brush where a slug is the appropriate tool for deer and similar medium game.
