Description
The FN 502 Tactical is a landmark rimfire – the company’s first .22 LR pistol and the industry’s first slide-mounted, optics-ready rimfire handgun. Built around FN 509-style ergonomics, this single-action, hammer-fired .22 LR pistol is designed for high-volume training and pure range enjoyment, letting you stretch sessions with affordable rimfire ammo while still benefiting from a modern, tactical, optic-ready platform.
At its core, the FN 502 Tactical pairs a 4.6″ steel threaded barrel cut 1/2×28 with an optic-ready, serrated slide. The slide accepts a red dot using FN’s patented Low-Profile Optics Mounting System, while the included suppressor-height night sights co-witness perfectly with the mounted dot for fast, accurate target transitions. The barrel ships suppressor-ready with a thread protector, and the flat dark earth polymer frame carries an under-barrel Picatinny accessory rail for lights and lasers, with matching FDE textured polymer grips for confident handling.
The pistol ships with three magazines – one flush-fit 10-round and two 15-round – giving you real flexibility for both training and casual range sessions. Ambidextrous controls and a manual thumb safety make the FN 502 Tactical equally at home in either hand, and the proven FN 509-inspired balance keeps the gun flat and controllable during rapid strings. Made in Germany, the FN 502 Tactical delivers optics, suppressor capability, and FN-grade fit and finish in a feature-rich rimfire package.
