Description
Gerber Flatiron
The Flatiron Gerber folding knife with D2 steel, cleaver blade; plain blade edge; satin blade finish; frame lock locking mechanism; blue Micarta & stainless handle; and tip-up, right carry pocket clip.
Built for utility, the Flatiron knife is in the category of knives called “folding cleavers” – the next hot trend in the knife industry.
Featured on it is a cleaver blade made of premium D2 steel; this 3.8-inch blade is robust, has a plain cutting edge, and wears a satin finish. To secure the Gerber Flatiron knife blade in an open or closed position, a sturdy PVD frame lock has been featured as well, and this comes with a patent-pending Pinch Plate.
Offering best-in-class ergonomics, this pocketknife also boasts blue colored Micarta presentation scales on the handle, and the back is of stainless steel construction.
The knife’s spine features a reverse curvature design to keep your knuckles away from the cutting surface and promote precise cutting and chopping; and the Gerber Flatiron knife is easy to carry around, thanks to a tip-up, right carry pocket clip fixed to the back of the handle.
