Description
Gerber Mini Covert Auto
The Gerber Covert Auto Mini folding knife with CPM-S30V stainless steel, spear point blade; plain blade edge; black oxide blade finish; plunge locking mechanism; coyote brown aluminum handle; lanyard hole; slide switch safety; and tip-down, right carry pocket clip.
The Mini Covert is the compact version of the Covert Auto, which itself is an evolution of the best-in-class Applegate-Fairbairn folder.
It comes equipped with a plain, 2.8-inch spear point blade with a false top edge, and this blade is coated with black oxide to help maintain sharpness and fight against corrosion. A plunge locking mechanism locks the blade in the open position while it’s in use, and this is activated by a spring-loaded auto release that deploys at the touch of a button on the handle.
The handle of the Gerber Mini Covert knife is made of 6061 aluminum, coyote brown-colored, and Type III anodized to protect it against abrasion and wear. It also features grooved lines that help the user maintain a secure grip.
More features of this knife include a slide safety switch, a lanyard hole, as well as a tip-down, right carry pocket clip for convenient carry/stowage.
