Description
Compact tri-fold steel shovel folds from a field-ready 23 in. length to about 9.5 in., slipping into the matching olive-drab polymer carrier. The rubberized scabbard sports twin spring-steel belt clips that mate with ALICE / web belts and packs, while drain holes keep mud and water from pooling. A serrated edge on one side of the spade bites into roots, and the sturdy steel locking collar lets you deploy the blade straight for digging or at 90° for pick work. These sets arrive in surplus-used condition—expect finish wear and unit marks, but fully functional hinges, collar and carrier hardware.
