This rifle features a blued octagonal barrel that is 20 inches long, a gleaming Brasslite receiver, an American walnut stock, as well as a buttplate and barrel band both made of brass like the receiver. These features call to mind, the wild and wooley days of America’s Old West, when the original Henry lever action rifle was designed by Benjamin Tyler Henry.
The historic authenticity of the Henry Golden Boy 22 Mag is further highlighted by the adjustable buckhorn-type rear sight, which is paired with a brass bead front sight for effortless target acquisition.
This firearm, like all Henry rifles, boasts a smooth action that opens and shuts with the effortless slickness lever-lovers long for. Moreover, the Henry 22 Magnum rifle Golden Boy points naturally, balances well, and makes for highly accurate offhand shooting; its substantial 6¾ pound heft will be appreciated by small game hunters and plinkers.
Designed to offer a longer period of shooting pleasure before a reload is required, the Henry Lever Action Golden Boy 22 Magnum is equipped with a tubular magazine that holds 12 rounds.
Bear in mind that the rifle is also offered in .22 LR and .17HMR. The .22 S/L/LR version holds 16 rounds of Long or Long Rifle, or 21 rounds of Short; while the 17 HMR variant accomodates 11 rounds.
