Description
The Henry H006G Big Boy Brass Side Gate chambered in .44 Magnum / .44 Special brings the look and feel of an authentic American heritage lever-action into a smooth-shooting modern package. It is built around Henry’s signature polished, hardened brass receiver and a 20″ blued octagon barrel, pairing traditional craftsmanship with the reliable, crisp action Henry is known for.
Feeding through an under-barrel tubular magazine, the action is a classic lever design backed by a transfer bar safety. A dedicated side loading gate on the receiver lets you top off the tube quickly without removing it, and the rifle holds 10+1 rounds of either .44 Magnum or .44 Special, so you can switch between hard-hitting magnum loads and milder, easy-shooting specials. The barrel is a true octagon with a 1:20 twist, and the receiver is paired with an American walnut straight-grip stock and matching forearm finished with a polished brass barrel band.
Iron sights come ready to use, with a brass bead front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. At 38.50″ overall and 8.68 lbs, the H006G balances naturally on the shoulder for a 20-inch octagon-barreled lever gun. Whether you are collecting, hunting medium game, running a cowboy action stage, or simply enjoying a piece of American-made rifle history, the Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate delivers the classic Western experience straight from the box.
