Description
The Henry Original H011C lever-action rifle is a faithful reissue of Henry’s 1860-era repeating rifle, updated only where necessary to chamber the modern .45 Colt centerfire cartridge. The action is a classic toggle-link lever, and the rifle carries Henry’s signature polished, hardened brass receiver with the same tensile strength as steel.
At the heart of the rifle is a one-piece octagonal steel barrel blued to a deep finish, joined to a matching blued steel magazine tube. The barrel measures 24.5″ with a slow 1:16 twist well-suited to .45 Colt lead and jacketed bullet weights. The 13+1 capacity fills the tube magazine and gives the Old West-style platform enough reserve for a day on the range or a working session on the ranch.
Sights follow the period pattern: a tall blade front paired with a classic folding ladder rear. The half-cock notch on the hammer serves as the safety, and the rifle has no modernized manual safeties. The fancy American Walnut stock is finished to a warm brown tone and capped with a brass buttplate for a complete period look. The rifle wears a polished brass receiver and a blued barrel and magazine for a clean two-tone presentation, and the overall length is 43″ at a carrying weight of about 9 lbs. Handed for right-hand shooters.
Whether you’re a Cowboy Action Shooter, a historical firearms enthusiast, or simply looking for a handsome hunting rifle in .45 Colt, the Henry Original H011C delivers the look, feel, and smooth lever action of the original Henry in a modern, shootable package.
