The Heritage Mfg Rough Rider is a scaled-down single-action revolver modeled after the legendary Single Action Army, chambered in 22 LR for affordable, low-recoil shooting. The RR22CH4 pairs a 4.75″ barrel with a 6-shot cylinder and traditional fixed front / notched rear sights, keeping the look and feel of an Old West six-shooter in a rimfire package that works equally well for plinking, training, and casual range time.
A machined steel barrel is micro-threaded into the frame for an optimal barrel-to-cylinder gap, and the action is timed tight for consistent lockup and reliable ignition. This configuration dresses the revolver in a simulated case hardened finish on the zinc alloy frame paired with a black oxide barrel and cylinder for a rugged two-tone appearance engineered for regular outdoor use. Camo laminate grips round out the package and complement the old-school styling.
The Rough Rider rides on Heritage’s classic exposed hammer single-action lockwork and adds a manual safety for extra peace of mind when carrying or handling.
