Description
The Hornady LEVERevolution in 35 Remington is a high-performance centerfire rifle hunting cartridge built around the patented Flex Tip eXpanding (FTX) bullet. The 200 gr polymer-tipped projectile is specifically engineered for lever-action rifles and tubular magazines, where traditional pointed bullets are unsafe. The soft elastomer Flex Tip allows safe use in tubular magazines while still delivering the flatter trajectory and higher ballistic coefficients normally associated with spitzer-style projectiles.
Pushing the 200 gr FTX bullet to a muzzle velocity of 2225 fps and generating 2198 ft lbs of muzzle energy, LEVERevolution delivers a velocity increase of up to 250 fps over conventional 35 Remington loads. The result is a noticeably flatter trajectory, more retained downrange energy, and reliable controlled expansion at typical hunting ranges, making this load an excellent choice for hunting with classic lever-action rifles.
Loaded in a brass case to Hornady’s strict quality standards, this is a modern high-performance hunting round designed to safely feed from tubular magazines without sacrificing ballistic performance.
