Description
Spec’d for the M1 Garand’s gas system, Hornady’s Vintage Match 30-06 Springfield load mirrors original M2-Ball pressures so you can run a classic service rifle hard without beating up the op-rod. Match-grade components, tight QC and Hornady’s AMP-jacketed ELD Match bullet deliver true benchrest-class accuracy out to 600 yds and beyond.
The 168 gr ELD Match leaves a 24″ test barrel at 2710 fps with 2739 ft lbs of energy and a slick 0.523 G1 BC, staying supersonic past 1,000 yds for minimal wind drift. New, reloadable brass cases, temperature-stable powder and non-corrosive Boxer primers round out a cartridge built for CMP Vintage Rifle matches, ringing steel on the weekend, or general-purpose hunting.
