Description
The Hornady XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) is one of the most trusted pistol projectiles in handloading, and this box of .357 diameter / .38 Caliber flat-point bullets delivers the proven performance Hornady has built its reputation on.
Each bullet is a 125 grain FP-XTP (Flat Point XTP) featuring a jacketed hollow point design with precise serrations that divide the jacket into symmetrical sections. This construction strategically weakens the jacket to initiate controlled expansion across a wide velocity range, making the XTP equally at home in target loads, self-defense ammunition, and varmint/predator handgun hunting.
These projectiles are built around a lead core with a sectional density of .140 and a G1 ballistic coefficient of .148. The flat point profile feeds reliably in semi-automatic pistols and revolvers alike, and the 125 grain weight is a classic choice for magnum-revolver handloads and moderate-velocity .357 pistol work.
This is a box of 100 bullets, sold as reloading components only (not loaded ammunition). Designed for handgun applications, these XTPs are a go-to choice for handloaders building accurate, expanding .38 Special, .357 Magnum, and other .357-diameter pistol loads. Cases contain 25 boxes (2,500 bullets total).
