The Inforce WMLX Multi-Function White LED/IR Tactical Weapon Light is your best bet if what you need is ultra-compact white-light-plus-IR capability for your rifle or carbine.
Able to produce 400mW of infrared radiation, and 700 lumens of penetrating light with a tight beam for close- to mid-range applications, and balanced peripheral light for discernment of the surroundings, the Inforce WMLX Gen 2 Gun Light is extensively proven amidst prolonged rapid firing, rough handling, and harsh conditions; it is also a match for adversity in any clime or place. This particular IR model with an FDE color is powered by two CR123A batteries which can run the unit continuously for 2 hours on white light, or 4 hours on infrared. The rear-facing non-slip button lets you press, click, and double click between functions, including momentary, constant, and strobe.
Made of reinforced polymer, the Inforce Gen 2 Weapon Light is durable and waterproof up to 66 feet/20 meters, and the unit incorporates two distinct easy-to-operate lockout systems to avoid accidental discharge: safety lever or head rotation. A quarter turn of head engages lockout mode.
Rounding out this item is a compact, convenient, secure and patent pending rail clamping system which, without tools, allows you to mount the WMLX White/IR Light on any MIL-STD-1913 rail.
