The Knights Armament Company flash hider is designed to enable you use Knight’s Armament 7.62 QDC suppressors on 5.56 rifles. In other words, the QDC compatible flash hider is not for use on 7.62 caliber rifles, but is rather optimized for use with 7.62 QDC suppressor on a 5.56mm host.
