If you’re in the market for a high-quality complete upper assembly, the Knights Armament Company SR-15 E3 Mod 2 Upper is your best bet.
Featured on it is a 5.56 mm NATO barrel manufactured for military grade durability; hammer forged as well as chrome lined for high strength and corrosion resistance, this 16-inch barrel is free-floated inside a URX4 M-LOK handguard. The optic-ready KAC SR 15 E3 also features an improved E3 round-lug bolt design that enhances function and increases bolt life far beyond the industry standard; a URX4 M-Lok rail system boasting a stronger and more stable design over previous rail systems due to its one-piece construction; as well as a 3-prong flash hider.
Compatible with the Knight’s line of 5.56 mm QDC Signature Reduction Devices, the 5.56 mm 3-prong flash eliminator interferes with propellant gas combustion forward of the muzzle to significantly reduce flash signature, and will not ring upon firing or when struck.
