Famous for its time in military use, and infamous for its use by gangsters during the prohibition era, the M1A1 has a storied history in the United States. Commonly referred to as a “Tommy gun” and “Chicago Typewriter”, the real steel version saw U.S. Military service from 1938-1971. The .177 caliber steel BB version features the same iconic looks and functionality as the firearm.
Customize your firepower by choosing between a massive 450-round BB drum magazine powered by three CO2 cartridges, or a sleek 30-round stick magazine fueled by two 12-gram cartridges. Both setups deliver enough power to sling steel BBs at up to 435 fps alongside an enjoyable, blowback-driven recoil impulse. With the flip of a switch, the rifle fires in semi-auto or full-auto, meaning you can dump a 30-round magazine downrange in mere seconds, or lay down sustained fire with the high-capacity drum.
Well known for producing some of the most enjoyable replica airguns on the market, Umarex brings yet another historically significant firearm to life in airgun form! Era correct faux wood furniture, sights, and sling mounts make the M1A1 a replica that even the most avid collectors will be impressed by!
