Will the Mathews Cargo Tee shrink?
Very little. At 40% polyester, this blend is far more dimensionally stable than a 100% cotton tee—the polyester fibers do not relax and contract in the wash the way cotton does. Wash cold, tumble dry low, and it should come out the same size it went in.
How does a 60/40 blend compare to a 100% cotton tee?
Different tradeoffs. The blend is lighter, softer against the skin, dries faster, wrinkles less, and holds its shape through repeated washing. Straight cotton breathes better in real heat and takes on a broken-in character over time that a blend does not. For a shirt that lives in the truck and gets worn hard, the blend usually wins.
