The Odin Works XMR2 Gen 2 Extended Magazine Release is a precision-engineered upgrade for the AR-15 and AR-10 lower receiver, machined from billet 6061 aluminum and finished in a durable black Cerakote.
Designed as a drop-in replacement for the factory magazine button, the XMR2 Gen 2 features an oversized paddle surface that is roughly four times larger than a standard release. The extended profile and ergonomic shape let the operator drop a magazine without breaking grip or shifting the support hand, speeding up reloads during competition, training, or defensive use.
The release carries the signature Odin boomerang cuts and is compatible with KNS Pins and the BAD Lever, giving builders flexibility when assembling or upgrading their lower. Installation is straightforward, and the XMR2 drops into a standard AR-15 or AR-10 magazine catch using the existing spring and hardware, with no permanent modification required.
Finished in Cerakote Black, this extended magazine release blends cleanly with both all-black and two-tone AR builds and adds a subtle tactical accent to the left side of the receiver. Sold individually.
