The nylon AP brush is the least aggressive option and meets Mil-Spec for everyday cleaning on virtually any surface, including wood. The blue nylon AP brush steps up with stiffer bristles for a more aggressive clean without marring the finish. The bronze AP brush is the most aggressive of the trio, ideal for scrubbing hard-to-reach areas around the firing pin and other metal surfaces where carbon and copper residue build up.
