The Ruger BX-1 rotary magazine is superior to conventional feeding systems because each cartridge lies in its own channel in the magazine, and this arrangement prevents jamming by eliminating the overlap between cartridge rims found with stack-type magazines.
Made of a rugged polymer material, the BX-1 Magazine also features a polymer magazine follower; a heat-treated steel spring; and steel feed lips that will stand up to thousands of rounds without any signs of wear or jams.
