The Samson Industries Pocket Comp is a low-profile threaded compensator for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm — designed to fit a threaded-barrel Shield and reduce muzzle rise without changing the pistol’s recoil spring or slide function. Installs in minutes on a 1/2×28 threaded Shield barrel, no gunsmithing required.

Compatibility: requires a Shield with a 1/2×28 threaded barrel (not included). Compatible with a wide range of bullet weights and velocities using the factory recoil spring. Not for the Shield Plus or the .40 S&W Shield variants — verify your Shield variant and barrel thread pitch before ordering.
