Featured on this S&B ammunition that produces an enhanced lethal effect is a semi-jacketed soft point bullet; weighing 140 grain, this bullet comes with a lead core that is bare in front, and, to ensure rapid-controlled expansion as well as high weight retention, the metal jacket has been precisely engineered.
The S&B 6.5×55 140 gr round goes ahead to feature a brass case that is reloadable and reusable, a boxer primer that ignites consistently, and a clean-burning powder that keeps the barrel of your rifle unfouled.
When it comes to muzzle energy and muzzle velocity, this Sellier & Bellot 6.5×55 clocks in at 2104 ft. lbs. and 2602 fps; and while it is best suited for hunting, it is also suitable for other applications such as self-defense. It ships in a box containing twenty (20) rounds of ammo.
