The Stretch 2 Spyderco folding knife with VG-10 stainless steel, drop-point blade; plain blade edge; satin blade finish; ambidextrous thumb hole opener; lockback locking mechanism; black fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle; and four-position stainless steel pocket clip.
In 1983 Spyderco’s original C03 Hunter model started to undergo a long evolutionary process; the result today is the Stretch 2, a folder made using feedback from numerous hunters who use Spyderco knives in the field.
Featured on this knife is a drop point, PlainEdge blade made of high-quality VG-10 stainless steel; providing exceptional cutting performance, this full flat-ground blade is easily unfolded thanks to Spyderco’s ambidextrous-friendly Round Hole on it, and is held securely open by a well-built back lock mechanism.
Equipped in addition on the Spyderco Stretch 2 lightweight knife is a black, injection-molded fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle made longer for increased leverage, and Bi-Directional Textured for a firm grip in any condition. More refined features of this folder include enhanced ergonomics to reduce fatigue during prolonged use, and a deeper index-finger choil for an enhanced purchase with a “choked up” grip.
