Description
The Taurus Tracker Model 44 is a rugged medium-frame revolver chambered in 44 Rem Mag, designed for hunting, sport shooting, and personal protection. Its 4″ ported barrel mates to a matte black oxide-finished cylinder and alloy steel frame, giving it the durability and balance the Tracker line is known for.
This double-action/single-action revolver carries 5 rounds in its cylinder and features an exposed hammer for traditional single-action fire. The ported barrel reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, making the .44 Magnum comfortable to shoot and easy to control on follow-up shots. Sights are configured with a fixed front blade and an adjustable rear for confident aiming.
A black Ribber grip provides a secure hold, while the integrated transfer bar safety and Taurus Security System keep the hammer safely at rest until the trigger is pulled. The revolver weighs 35 oz with an overall length of 9″, hitting a sweet spot between packable carry and full-length sight radius.
Built around Taurus’s proven medium-frame Tracker platform, this Model 44 carries Taurus’s reputation for accuracy, rock-solid performance, and near-indestructible construction. It is a versatile .44 Magnum revolver equally at home in the field or on the range.
