Description
Darkness stops being a limit with the Vortex Veil 400. This handheld thermal monocular picks up heat signatures well beyond what a flashlight or naked eye can reach, giving predator hunters, hog hunters, and anyone tracking game after sunset a clear read on what’s out there before they close the distance. A 400×300 thermal sensor and sharp OLED display combine for a detailed, easy-to-read image, while rugged rubber-armored housing keeps it working through wet, cold, and rough handling.

See More of the Picture
A 400×300 thermal sensor with a 12-micron pixel pitch resolves finer detail than entry-level thermal units, making it easier to tell an animal from background clutter at distance. The 1024×768 OLED display keeps that detail crisp during long nights in the stand or on the move.
Dial In the Scene
Four color palettes — Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, and Multicolor — help a heat signature stand out against different backgrounds. Three viewing modes go a step further: Balanced for open ground, Contrast for game hiding in shadows or backlit scenes, and Brush for thick cover and humid air that can otherwise soften the image. Digital zoom (1x, 2x, 4x) lets you close in on a target without moving.
