The Vortex Venom 5-25×56 FFP Riflescope with EBR-7C MOA reticle is designed to provide superior performance for long-range hunting and shooting at a competitive price. This scope has a 56mm objective lens to provide crisp views and excellent color fidelity in spite of poor lighting or inclement weather, and a 34mm one-piece tube constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with a low-glare matte black finish for improved stealth.
The windage and elevation turrets on this scope are both exposed locking turrets, meaning they provide a way to make quick and simple adjustments while helping to avoid inadvertent adjustments. The windage turret has a resettable zero, and the elevation turret utilizes the RevStop Zero system that uses the included tool to set a zero and then provide a solid stop.
The Vortex Venom 5-25×56 is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged to offer improved waterproofing and fogproofing, and it is shockproof to help it withstand sharp impacts. The windage and elevation turrets both offer an adjustment range of 85 MOA, with 25 MOA per turret revolution and using 1/4 MOA adjustment increments.
This scope provides parallax-free views from 15 yards to infinity with the combination of its adjustable objective and fast-focus eyepiece, and it has a removable zoom throw lever that offers a quicker and simpler way to change the magnification. The optical system on this riflescope features XD glass for remarkable clarity and bold colors from edge to edge with extra-low dispersion, and ArmorTek coating that helps avoid scratches, dirt, and oil.
The EBR-7C is a laser-etched MOA FFP (first focal plane) reticle that helps enhance ranging abilities and long-distance accuracy. It has a fine center dot for aiming, as well as a large set of holdover and windage dots to help compensate for ammo drop and correct for wind drift, and fine crosshairs for added accuracy while maintaining visibility.
